11th Annual Catkins Ball: Paint the Town Red
Catkins Ball is an annual fundraising event held by The Community Foundation of San Saba County. Proceeds from ticket sales and the auctions assist the city and county in revitalization projects designed to make San Saba an attractive destination for historical tourism. A catkin is the flower of the pecan tree. Catkins are typically downy and hang loosely from the tree.
